Valerie Thompson has the determination and performance of all racers. In only four years, Valerie has earned her way from the All Harley Drag Racing Association series, to becoming a NHRA team owner and licensed competitor in drag racing's most elite class, of the Pro Stock Motorcycle Series. As a female race team owner and rider, Valerie’s winning attitude has made her a powerful brand ambassador and inspirational role model for motorsports fans nationally.
Valerie became a full time professional racer in 2006. In her second season, Valerie finished third in the nation and placed second in the Western Division V-Rod® Destroyer class only seven points out of winning a Championship. Then, in 2008, Valerie had the vision and dream to create her own race team, known today as Valerie Thompson Racing LLC, and made her NHRA debut the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, IN.
Valerie’s success does not begin and end with her racing career. Valerie is a 2-Time Land Speed Record Holder at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Valerie’s future goals include additional land speed records and a membership into the prestigious 200 MPH club. Valerie generously donates her time to support charitable organizations and inspire those overcoming personal challenges such as HopeKids.
Valerie has been featured in a variety of national media platforms such as the famous GoDaddy.com Super Bowl Commercial, The POW MIA "Run for The Wall", Discovery Channel, A&E, SPEED, ESPN2, Super Bowl Red Carpet, V-Twin, Hot Bike Bagger, Cycle Source, Scottsdale Health Magazines as well as other International publications.
